If the socks are stinking, or lost its colour, or dust has accumulated -- Take the extract from a lemon, mix it with water and soak the socks for a few hours, take it and wash. It would be freh. 2. A way to get rid off from the allergy due to small mites -- cut garlic pearls into small pieces, boil them in water, till the garlic becomes soft. Take it off from the stove and then add one teaspoonful of soap powder andkeep it for a day. The next day sprinkle this liquid on to the floors. Everything would vanish! 3.To clean the dirty garden/balcony chairs -- dissolve cooking soda in water. Sprinkle it on the chairs and wipe it clean with a cloth after a few hours. 4. If the knot of the shoe lace of the children comes off too often -- apply candle to the lace and then tie the knot. It will remain as such. 5. If the tomatoe (raw) takes too long to ripen -- keep it along withonions to make it ripen in a day. 6. If you want the poori to be crisp as ever, sprinkle a little semolina and make pooris. 7. To prevent the boiling milk coming out of the vessels -- smear a little butter inside the container and the boil the milk. 8. To break the coconut even -- keep it over a hot vessel exposing it to the steam for a few minutes and the break it. 9. To open the lid of the sauce/juice/pickle/jam bottle, cover it with a wet cloth for a few minutes and then open it. It would come off easily. 10. Sauce not coming out of the bottle immediately: insert a straw into the bottle to make all the air to escape. Now the sauce will flow out easily. 11. To make the brass vessels sparkle: powder chalk (used for writing) and dip lemon peels into that and clean them. 12. To prevent the sambar from being spoilt: add a little fenugreek to the dhal for sambhar while cooking it. Then add it to the sambar. It would keep it fresh. 13. For such of those who avoid potatoes for its gas problems: Chop about 1"size ginger after removing its outer cover, add a little dhaniya (coriander seeds) and add it to the potatoes while adding the masala.
