Chilly Garlic Peas Fried Rice
Ingredients
1. Basmathi or Raw Rice -- cooked ... 2
2. Red chillies (dry) ... 8 nos
3. Garlic ... 6 pearls
4. Onions -- chopped ... 1 no
5. Cinnamon ... 1/2 cup
6. Spring rolls of onion ... 1/2 cup
7. Salt ... to taste
8. Oil ... to fry
9. Green Peas (outer shell removed) ... 1 cup
Method:
- Make a paste of red chillies and garlic. Instead you can mix 2 tsp red chilly powder with garlic and grind it in a mixie into a paste.
- Heat oil in a kadai and add the ground paste of red chillies and garlic till its raw smell goes off.
- Add the chopped onion and saute till it becomes transparent.
- Add the green peas after removing its outer cover, the salt required for the onion and saute till the onion and peas get cooked well.
- Then add the cooked rice and it is better that a little salt is added while cooking the rice which will give a better taste.
- Add the spring rolls and serve hot.
