Chilly Garlic Peas Fried Rice

Ingredients
1. Basmathi or Raw Rice -- cooked ... 2
2. Red chillies (dry) ... 8 nos
3. Garlic ... 6 pearls
4. Onions -- chopped ... 1 no
5. Cinnamon ... 1/2 cup
6. Spring rolls of onion ... 1/2 cup
7. Salt ... to taste
8. Oil ... to fry
9. Green Peas (outer shell removed) ... 1 cup

 

Method:

  1. Make a paste of red chillies and garlic. Instead you can mix 2 tsp red chilly powder with garlic and grind it in a mixie into a paste.
  2. Heat oil in a kadai and add the ground paste of red chillies and garlic till its raw smell goes off.
  3. Add the chopped onion and saute till it becomes transparent.
  4. Add the green peas after removing its outer cover, the salt required for the onion and saute till the onion and peas get cooked well.
  5. Then add the cooked rice and it is better that a little salt is added while cooking the rice which will give a better taste.
  6. Add the spring rolls and serve hot.
