Aloo Puri

Ingredients
Oil for frying

Filling:
1) 4-5 medium size boiled aloo.
2) 5 green chilies finely chopped
3) 1 tsp. ginger finely chopped
4) 1 tsp. garlic finely chopped
5) 1/4 tsp. chaat masala.
6) 1tsp or salt as per taste

Covering:
1) 2 cup Wheat flour
2) 1 cup Maida (all purpose flour)
3) 1 tsp Dhania-jeera powder.
4) 1/2 tsp chili powder
5) Salt as per taste.

 

Method:

  1. Mash the aloos, mix all other ingredients in that and make a nice mixture.
  2. Mix both the flours & other ingredients for covering & make nice dough.
  3. Take a small ball of dough & put one scoop of potato mixture in that & cover it properly by the dough.
  4. Press the ball little bit so it will look like a puri. Like that make all the puries
  5. Mean while heat the oil properly.
  6. Place the puries in oil fry nicely to golden brown colour & take out from oil place on paper.
  7. Serve hot with tomato sauce/garlic chatani/ green chatani etc.
