Cabbage Salad

Ingredients

1 small green Cabbage
2 Green Chillies
1/2 Lemon juice
2 tsp grated Coconut
1 tbsp Mustard Seeds
Oil for seasoning
pinch of asafoetida
Sugar 1 tsp
Salt as per taste
Chopped Coriander for garnishing

Method:

  1. Finely chop chop or grate cabbage.
  2. In a pan, heat some oil. When the oil is heated, add mustard seeds.
  3. When the mustard seeds begin to crackle, add asafoetida, chopped chillies.
  4. Pour this mixture over chopped cabbage.Pour lemon juice and mix well.
  5. To this mixture, add sugar & salt as per your requirement .
  6. Garnish with chopped coriander.
