Peas Masala Dosa

Ingredients:
11. Boiled rice ... 400 gm
2. Urad dhal ... 100 gm
3. Toor dhal ... 2 tablespoonful
4. Bengal gram ... 2 tablespoonful
5. Fenugreek ... 1 tsp.

For Masala:
6. Green peas ... 200 gm
7. Onion -- chopped ... 1 no.(big)
8. Tomatoes -- cut ... 1 no
9. Mint leaves ... 1 handful.
10. Coriander leaves ... 1 handful
11. Green chillies -- cut ... 3 nos.
12. Ginger -- cut ... 1/2" piece
13. Grated Coconut ... 2 tablespoonfuls
14. Cinnamon ... small bit
15. Clove ... 1 no
16. Elachi ... 1 no
17. Garlic -- cut into pieces ... 5 pearls
18. Salt ... to taste
19. Oil ... to fry.

 

Method:

  1. Soak the rice and dhals -- items 1 to 5 and grind them in a grinder.
  2. Make masala paste with mint leaves, coriander leaves, green chillies, ginger, grated coconut, cinnamon, cloves, elachi. garlic and salt in a mixie.
  3. Keep oil in a vessel, heat it and add the onion with the salt required for that and saute for 2 mts.
  4. Add tomatoes, green peas and the salt required for the entire masala and saute for another 2 minutes.
  5. Add the ground masala paste and saute under medium flame till the raw smell of the ingredients goes off. Take it off from the stove.
  6. Make dosa with the dough, spread about 2 tablespoonfuls of the masala, and fold the same after the dosa is made.
  7. Serve with coconut chutney or sambar.
