Hi I am shiela. I have enjoyed cooking and for a change often try to add a twist or new ingredient to the dish as it is traditionally made, to enhance it in some respect. This is a variatin of pesarattu, which proved a hit and is very nutritious too. Pesarattu
Ingredients
green split moong dal-1 cup
utad dal split one-1/2 cup
channa dal -1/2 cup
raw rice-3/4 cup.
later to add
finelycut onion,
small slivers of ginger,
curry patta,
dhaniya leaves
hing
salt.
Method:
- Can soak overnight or for 4-5 hours.
- grind all together finely to make a loose paste.
- Add onions and the rest of the items like curry patta, finely cut dhaniya leaves andhing and salt.
- put oil and make thin dosas.
- Have with cocnut chutney, or pickle or chutney powder and a blob of butter.
- Bus, maza aajayega...
