Hi I am shiela. I have enjoyed cooking and for a change often try to add a twist or new ingredient to the dish as it is traditionally made, to enhance it in some respect. This is a variatin of pesarattu, which proved a hit and is very nutritious too. Pesarattu

Ingredients
green split moong dal-1 cup
utad dal split one-1/2 cup
channa dal -1/2 cup
raw rice-3/4 cup.
later to add
finelycut onion,
small slivers of ginger,
curry patta,
dhaniya leaves
hing
salt.

 

Method:

  1. Can soak overnight or for 4-5 hours.
  2. grind all together finely to make a loose paste.
  3. Add onions and the rest of the items like curry patta, finely cut dhaniya leaves andhing and salt.
  4. put oil and make thin dosas.
  5. Have with cocnut chutney, or pickle or chutney powder and a blob of butter.
  6. Bus, maza aajayega...
