Kancha Tomatoe diye Alur Tarkari

Ingredients
300gms-500gms Potatoes
Same Amount of Green Tomatoes.
2-4 Tablespoon of Mustard seeds along with5-6 Green Chillies for wet grinding.
1/2 bunch of Corriander leaves for garnishing.
4-5 Tablespoon of Dhara Mustard Oil.

 

Method:

  1. Peel out the potatoes and make it into pieces.Soak the pieces in water.
  2. Cut the tomatoes into piecs.always wash the tomatoes before cutting.
  3. Heat Oil in Kadai.
  4. Add 1teaspoon of Kala jeera.Let it splutter,then fry the potatoes in it.
  5. Add 1teaspoon of salt and turmeric powder in it. After the Potatoes get fried put the Tomatoes.But Fry the potatoes in slow flame.
  6. Don't add water as Tomatoes leaves water.
  7. Add the mustard paste.Let it shimmer on slow flame covered with Lid.
  8. After the Potatoes get boiled,add corriander leaves into it.(Always remember the corriander leaves should be washed properly in the running water so that mud should not be there.)
  9. Serve it with Rice or Roti.
