Vada Hariyali
Ingredients
1/2 Kg Chana Dal
1 katori Rice
Chilli - 10 (nos) (You may add more if you need to make it spicy)
Garlic - 5-6 cloves
Ginger - 1/2" piece
Anniseeds - 1 tsp (badi sauf)
1 bunch Corainder leaves
Turmeric Powder
Salt to taste
Method:
- Soak Dal and rice for 2 hours.
- Grind to a rough paste.
- Grind green chillies, corainder, garlic, ginger, ajwain, anniseeds to a smooth paste. Mix the ground pastes (note you should not let it get watery).
- Heat oil in a deep pan and fry small amounts (with a spoon) till golden brown.
- Serve this yummy vada hot with Tomato Ketchup.
