Ingredients
1. Cauliflower ... 1 no
2. Onion (big) chopped ... 1 no
3. Ginger ... small piece
4. Garlic ... 5 flakes
5. Cinnamon ... small piece
6. Cloves ... 2 no.
7. Cardamom ... 2 nos
8. Brinji leaf ... 1 small
9. Red chilly powder ... 1 tsp
10. Garam masala powder ... 1 tsp
11. Curd ... 1/2 cup
12. Cream ... 2 tablespoonfuls
13. Cashew nut ... 6 nos
14. Tomatoe puree ... 1/2 cup
15. Cummins ... 1 tsp
16. Cummin seed powder ... 1 tsp
17. Green peas ... 1/2 cup
18. Salt ... to taste
19. Oil ... to fry.
Method:
- Cut cauliflower into big pieces and drop them in boiling water and take it off immediately.
- Heat oil in a kadai, add chopped onion, ginger, garlic, clove, cardamom, brinji leaf, cummin seeds, cashew nuts (broken into bits) and fry them, and allow it to cool down and then grind them in a mixie into a nice paste.
- Heat oil in the kadai, add cummin seeds and after it splatters, add the ground paste and the tomatoe puree and saute.
- Add chilly powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, the required salt, and curd after it starts boiling, add the cooked green peas and cauliflower bits and cook it.
- Garnish with cream and serve.
