Tikha Paratha
Ingredients
2 cup Wheat flour
2 handful rice flour,maida(all purpose flour)
1 handful basen flour
2 tsp oil or ghee
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup yogurt(add little water & thin it)
1 tsp garam masala
2 tsp chilly powder(if prefered hot take more)
1 tsp jeera or til
Method:
- Mix all the flour,salt,oil,garam masala,chilly powder, jeera(til) well
- Make a dough by adding yogurt (add water if required) to make a dough (like for chapathi) & knead well
- Keep it aside for 10-20 min.
- Divide the dough into small balls then roll out a little & put some oil/ghee (like for chapathi)then fold in round or square shape and roll them out(use rice flour).
- Grease a tava with ghee/oil and place the paratha over it, when done on one side turn on the other side and apply ghee again and fry properly till both sides turn golden coloured.
- Serve piping hot with a tbsp of Butter or bowl of Curd.
