Malaay Gobi

Ingredients
1. Cauliflower ... 1 cup
2. Tomatoe paste ... 1/2 cup
3. Onion paste ... 1 cup
4. Salt ... to taste
5. Ginger ... 1/2" piece
6. Gree chillies ... 3 nos (medium)
7. Garlic ... 5 pearls
8. Milk powder ... 1/2 cup
9. Chilli powder ... 1 tsp
10. Turmeric powder ... 1 tsp
11. Garam masala ... 1 tsp
12. Oil ... to fry.

 

Method:

  1. Make a paste with ginger, green chillies and garlic in a mixie.
  2. Keep oil in a pan, add the onion paste and fry till golden brown
  3. Add the tomatoe paste (2 tbsp), 1tsp chilli powder, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp garam masala, and the required salt and saute for 2 minutes.
  4. Dissolve the milk powder in a little water and make a paste.
  5. Add the milk powder paste to the above mixture and saute for another 5 minutes.
  6. Add the cut cauliflower, add a little water, close the pan and cook for another 5 minutes.
