Chickpeas Sundal
Ingredients
chickpeas-1 1/2 cups
salt - 1tsp
urad dhall-1/2tsp
curry leaves - few
oil -1 tsp
grated coconut - 3tbsp
mustard -1/2 tsp
dry red chilli -2
asafodeita - pinch
Method:
- soak the chick peas over night to make the sundal next day.
- Pressure cook the chick peas for about 4 to 5 whistles.
- Decant the water and let it stand for few mins.
- Heat up oil in kadai and fry mustard seeds,urad dhall,asafodita,chilly and curry leaves.
- Add coconut and salt and remove from the heat.
- Stir to mix well. Now add the cooked peas and reheat.
- Stir for few mins till salt and coconut and are evely distributed.
