Badam Halwa

Ingredients Almonds - 1/2 cup 1 cup Rava
1 cup Ghee
1 cup Sugar
1/2 cup milk
1/2 tbsp cardamon powder
1 and 1/2 cup water

 

Method:

  1. Soak almonds overnight or for 4-5 hours in boiling water.
  2. The next morning peel off the skin of the almonds. Grind the almonds in a mixer to a fine paste.
  3. Add ghee in a heavy pan and put rava and almond paste in it.Stir this mixture on medium flame for about 4-5 mins.
  4. Add Milk and water and stir again.Make flame low and now add sugar and caradmon powder.
  5. Mix well and allow it on gas for 2-3 mins more .
  6. Add badam,kaju,pista on top.
