Bharala Karela

Ingredients
10 small karelas
2 big Onions
3 Big Tomato
3 tsp of Dhania Powder
3 tsp of Garam Masala
2 tsp of Chili powder
1 tsp of cumin seed (Zeera) powder
3 tsp of Aamchur powder
Salt to taste
oil to fry

 

Method:

  1. Scrape the Karelas from outside and slit it and remove the seeds and rub salt and leave it for few hours.
  2. Heat oil in a pan,put all the Masalas,salt including finely cut onions, tomatos and aamchur powder. Mix it well. Take off from Heat.
  3. Squeez the karelas and remove the water from it.
  4. Fry the karelas in oil for 5 min. Don't let them turn brown.
  5. Fill the karelas with the masala mixture.
  6. Take oil in Non-stick pan, when the oil is heated leave the karelas in it and the leftover masala,let them cook properly. You can keep the lid on.
  7. Just before turning off the gas, sprinkle the cut Coriender leaves on it.
  8. Nice spicy Karela is ready to enjoy!!!
  9. People who don't like karela don't tell them that this is karela, let them eat & find out. Thats the speciality of this Karela Curry. Everyone will love it.
