Bharala Karela
Ingredients
10 small karelas
2 big Onions
3 Big Tomato
3 tsp of Dhania Powder
3 tsp of Garam Masala
2 tsp of Chili powder
1 tsp of cumin seed (Zeera) powder
3 tsp of Aamchur powder
Salt to taste
oil to fry
Method:
- Scrape the Karelas from outside and slit it and remove the seeds and rub salt and leave it for few hours.
- Heat oil in a pan,put all the Masalas,salt including finely cut onions, tomatos and aamchur powder. Mix it well. Take off from Heat.
- Squeez the karelas and remove the water from it.
- Fry the karelas in oil for 5 min. Don't let them turn brown.
- Fill the karelas with the masala mixture.
- Take oil in Non-stick pan, when the oil is heated leave the karelas in it and the leftover masala,let them cook properly. You can keep the lid on.
- Just before turning off the gas, sprinkle the cut Coriender leaves on it.
- Nice spicy Karela is ready to enjoy!!!
- People who don't like karela don't tell them that this is karela, let them eat & find out. Thats the speciality of this Karela Curry. Everyone will love it.
