Fish Pickle

Ingredients
1 kg fish
3/4 kg gingelly oil

 

Method:

  1. Cut fish and rub with salt, chilli powder and haldi.
  2. Fryin gingelly oil.
  3. Two sprigs curry leaves + 1 full garlic + 1 large pc ginger [all to be chopped fine] + 6 green chillies slit lengthwise --- fry in gingelly oil.
  4. Put the vesel down and add add chilli powder -- fry a little more .
  5. Pour 3/4 bottle vinegar in and boil.
  6. Broil and grind 1 tsp jeera and add. Adjust the salt.
  7. Add sugar to taste.
  8. Mustard seeds to be crushed and added. When cool, add the friend fish.
