Ribbon Pakoda
Ingredients
rice flour - 2 cups
besan - 1 cup
Asafodeita - big pinch
turmeric powder - 1/2 tbsp
chilli powder - 1 tbsp.
butter(un salted) - 100gms.
Method:
- Take big vessel first put the rice flour,besan,butter and mix it evenly and no lumps are formed.
- Take katori put the turmeric powder,chilli powder,asafodeita and salt and some water beat it well and set aside.
- Keep one glass of water.
- Now add the mixture of turmeric,chilli,asafodita and salt to the rice flour mixture,slowly add the water knead it into soft and thick dough.
- Heat up oil in kadai,fill up the "ural or kuzhal" with some amount of dough.Use mould with one 1 or 2 slots.
- Press the dough over hot oil and deep fry until light brown and crispy.
