Lemon Rice
Ingredients
rice- 1cup
urad dhall-1/2tsp
turmeric powder- pinch
salt- 1tsp
channa dhall-1/2 tsp
Lemon 1
dry red chilli-4
mustard-1/2 tsp
venthyam-1/2tsp
asfetida- pinch
gingley oil- 2tsp
Method:
- Cook rice in 2 cups of water,making sure that cooked grains are seperate.
- Let it cool in large plate.
- Add turmeric powder and oil to the rice and mix evenly.
- Fry venthayam in the pan without adding any oil and dry grind with salt and sprinkle over the rice.
- In some oil fry channa dhall and urad dhall and remaining chillies and asafteida and spead over the rice.
- Add juice of lemon.Mix evenly.
- Garnish with curry or coriander leaves.
