Ingredients
3 cups thick butter milk
2 cups Yam or Raw plantain (thin slices)
1 tsp fenugreek
1 tsp black pepper
1/2cup grated coconut
4 green chillies
1 tbsp coconut oil
1/2 tsp mustard
few curry leaves
Salt as required
Method:
- Cook the veggies till half done in turmeric water and decant the water can use it for grinding
- Now pour butter milk on the veggies and keep it on sim till well cooked.
- Wet grind the coconut and chillies into fine paste&mix it well with veggies.
- Add salt.
- Allow the whole thing to boil once and switch of the gas
- Now grind the black pepper fenugreek into powder for add it to the kalan.
- Fry mustard seeds and curry leaves in coconut oil and add it the gravy.
