hi this is hema, after coming to usa i have learned to make low fat snacks by baking it.here is my recipes with varieties of options. one can really enjoy these bakes puris as snacks, for bhel puri or dahi bateta puri. this one is really appreciated my husband.

Baked Puris(Snacks)

Ingredients
BAKED PURIS(SNACKS) RECIPE :1
3 cups semolina (rawa)
salt to taste
3 table spoon oil
warm water

RECIPE: 2
3 cups miada (bread flour)
1 teaspoon jeera(cumin)
1 teaspoon fresh coarsely ground black pepper
salt
3 tablespoon oil

RECIPE :3
1 cup wheat flour
1/2 cup semolina
1/2 cup rice flour
1/2 cup mix dal flour
haldi, salt, red chilli powder, 1 tablespoon sesme seeds
3 tablespoon oil

 

Method:

  1. mix well all the ingredients.
  2. add water & knead well.
  3. make little hard dough.
  4. make small balls.
  5. roll them seperately in thin round shapes.
  6. bake them at 300 for 15-20 min.
  7. cool them.
  8. store them in a air tight
  9. comments: recipe 1 is really great fpr chat esp. bhel puri or dahi bateta puri. recipe 2 & 3 are really enjoyable in snacks with tea.
