Crispy Onion Vada

Ingredients
1. Urad Dhal ... 2 cups
2. Small onions -- cut ... 4 nos
3. Coriander leaves ... 1 cup
4. Curry leaves ... 1/2 cup
5. Green chillies -- cut ... 4 or 5 nos
6. Ginger -- cut into small pieces ... 1/2"
7. Salt ... to taste.

 

Method:

  1. Soak urad dhal for 2 hours and grind into a thick batter.
  2. Mix with the required salt, ginger, green chillies, curry leaves, chopped coriander leaves and onion.
  3. Take small balls, roll, flatten on a moistened plastic paper, make a small hole in the middle and fry in oil with the stove on medium flame.
